Reggie Angel

The world is currently not a cheerful and interesting place - without my little furry critter in it. I hope to feel inspired again soon and to share my thoughts and experiences with you all.

To not make this blog entirely about my rattie, I have started a blog dedicated to him. If you would like to read all about him - check it out:

Reggie Reggie Reggie

17 May 2007 - 06 January 2010

Just wanted to share some recent photos of Reggie.

Christmas Eve - after we got back from a final shopping trip. He always liked to investigate the shopping bags.

He's got that innocent 'I'm not doing anything' look on his face.

Christmas Day.

His 3rd Christmas with us - we were so lucky.

This photo was taken on 29 December.

I have never seen him as relaxed, he fell completely asleep on my lap - tummy (yellow one!) exposed and everything.

I love you and miss you my brave boy

In Memory of Reggie

17 May 2007 - 6 January 2010

My beautiful boy died suddenly on Wednesday morning. He filled my life for 2 & 1/2 years with joy, happiness, laughter, amazement, fun and more love than you could ever imagine.

I will miss him forever.

Happy New Year

We were treated to a special 'white' New Years. It snowed quite heavily just before midnight on New Year's Eve. We were just at home and got to watch people from various flats play in the snow and have snowball fights. It might've been an opportunity to go throw a snowball at the various inconsiderate neighbours around here - saw some people throwing snowballs from their balconies at unsuspecting people below and then hiding away! - but that probably wouldn't have been a very festive thing to do.

The following day, the pretty soft snow had turned to hard ice and made walking and driving virtually impossible. We took a walk to the canal near us - which had frozen over.

That's the pathway I'm standing on, not the canal. Do I look cold? I was!
